Tampa Flat Fee MLS sellers want to be listed in Greater Tampa Association of Realtors (GTAR), not the Mid-Florida Regional MLS.
Most Flat Fee MLS services in Florida do not belong to GTAR because it is expensive to join the GTAR board so they belong to Mid-Florida.
ADDvantage is the only Florida Flat Fee MLS services that pays attention to the little details that can affect your MLS listing.
The difference between listing through GTAR v. Mid-Florida Regional is when you list through GTAR, your MLS number starts with a "T" not an "O" (like Oscar).

Flat fee sellers often represent themselves. While not advisable, I believe most flat fee sellers do represent themselves in contract negotiations.
Realtors, being licensed professionals, typically know more about sales contracts than FSBO un-represented flat fee sellers.
The most common reason that a real estate transaction fails is financing issues.  The following briefly describes the differences in the two with regard to financing contingencies:

Compared with 2007, I see a dramatic improvement in unrepresented buyer activity as well as in Realtor® requests for showings.  July through December 2007 was a precipitous slide to a December standstill. But 2008 started off on the right foot with January activity in the "fair" column, February was better and March is a benchmark.  When I say benchmark, I mean the bar to beat or exceed. Buyer activity, offers and showings are strong. Our phone at ADDvantage® is ringing continually and activity is increasing as well.
