What will happen to our industry if we can only refer our clients to banks and we lose our mortgage brokers due to the loss of their investors? Will this eventually hurt us as realtors? The investors are pulling out because of this subprime debacle. Without the investors our mortgage brokers are having difficulty approving buyers. With banks as the only venue for buyers to turn to for approval, will this cause banks to become more of a monopoly which in turn will be more stringent on approving buyers? If that's the case, won't that hurt us as realtors to close … (12 comments)
