Did you know that good communities begin with their school system? Do you realize that in order to protect the value of your home, you must protect your New Jersey schools? In September 2009, I wrote a post Communities Begin With Their School System. That post pointed how the value of your home is affected if your local schools are compromised and encouraged Fairfield New Jersey residents to Vote for Fairfield Schools in the America's Favorite School Contest. Did you know that good communities begin with their school system? Did you know that your community's school system plays a major role in the value of your property? What do you think is the first question a family moving with children asks their agent...."What are the schools like?" Even buyers who may not have children today but have future plans of raising a family ask their agent...."What are the schools like?" Unfortuntately if the school system is compromised, not only does the school suffer but the community suffers as well. As a result, house values in that community may start to decline.
