I won't take credit for creating this referral link in my email signature but I do want to share this tip I found on the internet on how to add a referral link to your email signature.
Instead of the traditional referral taglines, you can create an immediate call to action in your email signature which includes a link that automatically sends a pre-written email referring your business.  All the referrer has to do is click the link, enter a valid email address of the person they want to refer and click send! Stranger Danger - Real Estate Referrals are strangers too
As real estate agents we put our lives at risk everyday.  Many times we don't even realize we are putting ourselves at risk or our life in danger but with REALTOR®  Safety Awareness month coming to an end and the tragic story of Beverly Carter, it's a brutal reminder that we have to be more careful and aware of our safety and the risks we take to sell a home.

This quote which I believe was written by Bill Cates, from The Referral Coach, "Referrals come through who you are, not what you sell" really caught my attention tonight.  In my eyes real estate has never been about sales or selling; real estate is about building relationships with real people and eventually the sales will happen.  I know there's others out there that are sales people - sales, sales, sales is what they dream about!  I'm not saying one approach is right and the other is wrong - to each his own but I feel that I've built my business on relationships not on transactions.

referrals: A snapshot of my business.... Do you know where your business comes from? - 02/15/10 04:25 AM
I LOVE what I do...my sellers entrusting me with their biggest asset and my buyers entrusting me with their biggest purchase.  Their best interest is my #1 priority!  I track my financials, my expenditures, etc. but I wanted to break it down to get a clear picture of where my business is coming from so I made the following pie-chart based on transactions that have closed.  Here's a snapshot of my business:

As you can see 3/4 of my business (76%) has come from my biggest fans....my friends, my family and my sphere of influence.  Their trust, support and referrals to their family … (0 comments)
