Over the past week, I have been having computer problems with my backup computer in the office. I had our support guys to take a look and they did not seem to know what was wrong. I called the Dell folks and they charged $49. to just run an analysis and said nothing was wrong. Being at my wits end....I went to CG computer experts and he told me that my hard time had died...So he put a new one in and I merrily went back to get the computer and "crank her up".. After working on a transaction for over a month, (I represent the seller) the buyers of this property that I have for sale, decided 2 days before closing, to get a mortgage on the property. Have you ever had anything like that to happen to you? It was sold and accepted as a cash transaction. That is the reason that it was accepted by the seller. It seems like everyone is trying to rewrite the rules of Real Estate. Don't know if you are experiencing it or not....but I sure am..

Today we left home early to go and see my 92 year old Mother in Law, who has recently been ill. We wanted to make sure that all was going well with her. Before we left this morning, I picked some hydrangeas from the year and added a few gardenias for the wonderful smell. This was delightful to her. It pleased her so. It has been a long time since I have had Opportunity time. We find ourselves a bit short with illness and accidents. Therefore, I am on Duty today. Today was a most unusual day. I have been working on getting an oceanfront house under contract for the past few days....and a buyer called me yesterday to show him some condos on Caswell Beach. I showed the couple 3 units. Today they called me back and wanted to see if I could draw up the contract. Guess what I said............YES OF COURSE I CAN MEET YOU AT THE UNIT TO GET THE CONTRACT SIGNED...and I did. We are negotiating that contract as I wait... Hope your Day is successful also.

Thank the Good Lord for another Good day. Today I showed property to folks that I have sold to 20 years ago. It is good to still have folks that think you did a good job for them then and I hope that I can still do good for work them now. They are choosing to move back to Oak Island after building their dream home on the banks of a river in Tennessee.. It will be good to have them back home.

Today we had rain again. Luckily we planted our seeds this past weekend and then the rain came. We had laid the garden out for the butter beans, sweet potatoes, squash, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Then as an added bonus, Jimmy put in giant sunflowers to brighten the garden. We will enjoy fresh cucumbers and tomatoes for the 4th of July. With you were here. Ginger of Southport … (7 comments)

This was such a great day today. Spending time with my family. Going to Church and hearing a great sermon about "Mothers"...WE had two of our grandsons (3 and 7 ) to spend last night with us. They are the greatest. After breakfast, we went into the yard ot find a red flower for them (meaning their mother is still alive) ..one for my husband, his mother is 92, and a white one for me (I lost my mother in 2000. It is a tradition that my parents started with us as children. Do you do this with your children? It … (2 comments)
