How do you get to have a featured post? I am stilll trying to be successful with AR and try new things a lot. I see where some of our folks get to have a featured post. Is that measured from the content of the post, or the number of hits or what? I read them and think that they had written an exceptional post and enjoy them. Our wonderful owner of Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty, gave us an opportunity to go and see Brian Buffini last week He is a most agreeable entertainer and trainer. I believe what he is teaching. Do this easy....not hard. This is what I think is most important for us as realtor agents in the 2011 year. You know what is important for us as agents. Back to Basics..

Today was our regular sales meeting day. We had 2 guest speakers telling us about their products. The Newspapers are hurting for lack of advertising and they are now trying to make it more affordable for individual agents to use the papers services. Next we had a home warranty company that came in to entice us to use their warranty company with our sales. Both are valid tools that we can use and I plan to do just that. Marissa, our 2 year old granddaughter, loves Jewelery. I decided to collect jewelery from the flee markets and put in a box for her to enjoy. Many of my friends, learned what I was doing and started bringing me bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings for her to enjoy. WE put these treasures in a Caboodle Box that the arranges carefully. When I bring new thing home, I will put them in her box. She then goes through the box and pulls out the new things that have been added...and makes much other them. Well....today is 1-11-11 and we were snowed out again in the office. Well not really. Our temperatures have hovered around the 32 degree mark and it was drizzling. Guess what we have to understand it that when it drizzles and the temperature is 32 degrees....the bridges freeze over and driving can be treacherous. So many did not venture out into the snow. Today we did our Christmas Cantata at Trinity United Methodist Church in Southport, North Carolina. It was such an awe inspiring hour filled with the familiar Christmas songs with a new twist. I enjoyed doing this concert so very much. The folks in the congregation gave us a standing applause at the end of our performance. I feel blessed..

Today was a great day in the lives of the Harper Family. After going to church and having a great sermon, we came home to eat our Sunday Dinner that consisted of.. Nice Roast Beef and gravy, Rice, Butterbeans, Corn, Apple, Rolls, sweet tea. For dessert we have Lemon Cake. After dinner, we went to the garden to dig the Sweet Potatoes that we will serve for Thanksgiving. The grandchildren helped, ages 2 to 8. All had a great time

This was a glorious day in Southport NC. My Grandchildren Clay and Jonah are feeding the Gulls. This is on the waterfront in Southport in Waterfront Park. These two young men, are my grandsons, Clay Harper Tuttle and Jonah Foster Gouger. It was a special day. It was the 90th Birthday for my Mother In Law, Margaret Taylor Harper. WE had many friends and family to join us in the celebration of her birthay. We are blessed with a wonderful family. Thanks, Ginger Harper

We have been busy with a Mother that has had to be hospitalized at Duke Hospital. She has been a resident as Croasdaile Village Retirement Community. She helped to create this retirement community and felt that she had to come here and leave beautiful Southport North Carolina. She is now 92 and had been doing very well. Wow.. I had two closings this week. The market is so slow that it is a real joy to have payday. It still seems like getting our properties to closing seems more difficult than it was in earlier years. Lenders seem to be giving our clients a harder time unless that are squeeky clean. I understand why this is happening. If they had been more diligent earlier, we may not be in this mess. Just my thoughts...today. Ginger … (4 comments)
