ginger of southport: TGIM Day... - 01/19/15 11:01 AM
Thank God it's    Monday.....And it has been an ok day.  The start of the week.  Appointments to attend.  Open House tomorrow.  Direct mail to go out. Advertising to set up..
It has been the usual but I felt good about it.  Maybe because the day was sunny and bright.  This fools me into believing that Spring is Near...(That's a funny one)  WE have many more cold days to go..
Hope that you feel productive today and are continuing to "Grow YOUR Business".
Have a great day...

Well we are about to the end of the Get Healthy in the Rain contest and I would like to share with you what it has done for me.
I started in the middle of January and weighed 20 pounds more than I do right now.   I still have a long way to go but I am on the right road.
When we started, I was also challenged by a co-worker and I decided to take on the challenge.
Therefore, my assistant and I started working out at least 4 days and week and changed our eating habits.   I started … (2 comments)

ginger of southport: Final SeaNotes Concert tonighht - 12/09/12 07:58 AM
Today we performed the final Sea Notes Christmas Concert. We had a sold out audience of about 1000. This concert was held at the Hatch Auditorium on Caswell Beach, North Carolina.
The concert consisted of sacred and secular music. This music was challenging and comical and I enjoyed singing this concert.
WE ended with the Twelve Days of Christmas; 12 days to shop, 9 days to shop, 4 days to shop and then a frantic 1 day to shop...It was musical and comical. We loved doing that song.
Tired week is the Christmas Cantata at Church. Also will … (1 comments)

Re-blogged by 0 agents
How do you insert a picture into the body of your blog.  I had a wonderful experience with the Grandchildren digging sweet potatoes this past Sunday and it was so good that I just wanted to share it with my Active Rain friends.  They got dirty and sweaty but had a glorious time tugging at the vines and bringing up large beautiful sweet potatoes.   These sweet potatoes we will serve to the family that comes to be with us at Thankgiving.  There will be about 25 of us and each of the precious littles ones can … (1 comments)

ginger of southport: Just another Friday? - 09/21/12 04:37 AM
Well, it has been one of those days ... too much going on and not a lot of time to do it in.
I have been trying to catch up at home tonight. Going over notes and trying to document things that need to be documented in the computer. Will get it done but it is going to take some time. Just do not understand why I can be so far behind. I think maybe business is picking up right now.  Lots of activity.
Hope you had a successful Friday and will have a wonderful weekend..

Well...This is the time of the year that the Grape Stomping takes place on Beaver Dam Creek in Southport, North Carolina.
For the past 4 days, we have been picking muscadin grapes, I have been stomping them (with very clean feet)..We are finding that is the easiest way to crush them.  Then the processing begins.
Stomped Grapes, Sugar, Sure jell...
Ending up with the best tasting jelly ever...
Fresh bread, real butter and fresh stomped grape jelly....Ah..the life...

ginger of southport: The Three Tenors - 02/26/11 02:39 PM
Tonight we are enjoying the The Three Tenors.
It is absolutely fabulous,   Carreras, Domingo and Pavoratti..
I think this is the first one that was preformed in 1991 and is on PBS...Public Broadcasting System.
Zubin Mater is the director.  It is most wonderful...
Messum Dorma by Puccini preformed by Pavoratti is just one of my most favorite...
If you can find it on your TV...join in.
