Todndy ay we had Maundy Thursday at our Church and did the Lenten Sketches.
It was one of the most sacred programs that I have ever been involved with. We had the most
beautiful music that we have ever sung.
WE had a portrayal of Jesus in Agony in the garden of Gethsemane...and then
the anguish of the cross.
Very touching.
This is the real meaning of Easter to me.
He died so that we can have life and have it more abundantly.
God be with YOU.

Spring...Ah Wonderful Spring.
I am so glad that the sun is shining and the air is cool and fresh and the flowers are blooming...and the birds are singing.
This is my time of the year. I seem to bloom as the flowers do. Thank you Lord for them all.
Now I think I can awaken and do my job as a professional Realtor. I just needed to wake up from Winter.

WE need to stay on top of this.
Energy Tax Information
This bill taxes power companies and everyone that uses fuel (who doesn't?).
Every power company, business and individual will pay the carbon tax.

Tonight we went to share in the awards program for the newspaper in the state of North Carolina.
This meeting was held at the Dean Dome in Chapel Hill NC. (The court where the Tar Heels play to win..)
The meeting was excellent and our own State Port Pilot received 20 awards for the excellence of our Newspaper. WE are a community newspaper in the coastal area of North Carolina.

Mondays are BOOST Days
This is the day that our Broker, Chloe, shares with us, tips and advice on selling house. This makes us stronger and more confident to meet the Seller and the Buyer.
Todays session was on writing great ads. Ads that are well written and with Dy-no-mite descriptions on the internet are getting the attention and are selling quicker.
FInd good ad writing techniques an you will get better exposure for your listing.

WE have had a glorious Day today.
After church, all of the family and a few friends came to share Dinner with us.
I had cooked a roast, had corn, butterbeans, steamed broccoli, homemade mashed potatoes, home grown sweet potatoes, scratch biscuits, and a new cobbler that I created with Bananas and of course sweet tea.
We had such a grat afternoon just visit and planning our spring garden.
Hope your day was Great too.

Good afternoon,
Guess as we grow older, we have more time to spend with our grandchcildren. We are finding that to be true in our lives now. When we were raising our family, we were both working and tied up with the events of our day.
Now that we are retirement age, some of us have the time to spend that extra special time with the grandchildren.
We are Blessed to have these precious time with them...

Seems like I have been working harder than ever trying to maintain a level of business that allows me to succeed and grow my business in 2010. I find that it is harder and harder to obtain and maintain my market share in the County.
If you are having the same problem, please share with me your ideas on how we can move forth in getting our share and more.

Today is a blessed day....I am sitting calmly with Jimmy waiting for the grandchildren to come over and open their gifts...
There will be a lovely hum of excitement all thru the house at that time.

This is too good not to share. At this time of year, many of us are running around trying to get the things done that we feel need to be done. Guess what. Many of those things that we try to get done, really are not that important. We need to reflect on our lives and the lives of those around us. Life is short and precious.
We need to be greatful for the abundance of grace that has been given to us.

More than 12,000 Kraft Foods employees recently participated in our first-ever global week of community service - "Make a Delicious Difference Week." Employees around the world created this video to help spread the volunteer spirit.
Each time it's viewed, the Kraft Foods Foundation will donate money to Feeding America to help provide five meals to those at risk of hunger -- up to 100,000 meals through the end of October 2009.

ginger of southport: Day with the family in Southport

Today was a family Day in Southport. We lost our Mother on Sunday of last week and and the family has been rallying around us. Tonight at Mama's house...we fed about 30 folks. These were family from all over the SE United States.
It is sad when it take this to bring the fmaily togerher. We usually get together for the 4th of July...but now this sad time...but a celebration of Mama's life..brings us together again.
