Good evening, I wanted to share with YOU the the events of our day.
After getting up and going to church our family came over for a typical Sunday Dinner.
Today we fed the family with:
Nice Roast Beef, Rice and Gravy
Field peas
Corn
Rolls
Broccoli and butter
Sweet tea
and a homemade Yellow cake with chocolate icing
Now that we are retirement age, some of us have the time to spend that extra special time with the grandchildren.
We are Blessed to have these precious time with them...

Southport the place I call Home.. I did this video to explain to other about Southport. It shows pictures that I took and one of my friends did the video.
Southport, truly is a wonderful place to come and live. Our temperatures are moderate and we do have 4 distinct seasons; Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Rarely do we have any snow at all, but when we do...it is such a treat.

Meg was very active in the Church, sang in the choir and directed Bible School. She was very active in her community and especially involved with her childrens activity's at School. Drama, Football, dance etc.
Meg was loved by many and is so missed by all.

This was built in Memory of our Daughter, Meg (Margaret Harper Tuttle) who lost her fight with Cancer in July of this year. Meg fought Inflamatory Breast Cancer bravely and did not give up hope.

I seem to be getting more BPO's lately and they are getting harder to please. I am giving them data from our MLS and they are still wanting more. How can I give them more when I am giving them the FACTS. How do you come up with a Comparable sale when nothing has sold. YOu can't ..You can't make it up. I think that the requirements have to take this in to consideration. reviewed the emails and responded mailed back samsung phone that did not work mailed camera to be fixed mailed geneoloy book back to owner bought Christmas tree stand shopping for Grand children assessed damage in rental property sent out Christmas Cards Made To Do list for tomorrow..
To much going on right now.

Marissa is in the Middle...of course.
Yesterday before church, Marissa comes stomping in the living room in her high heels and pajamas, a scarf and gloves. She looks at me, dead serious and says "Mom, I'm leaving" Me: Where are you going? Marissa: On vacation Me: For how long? Marissa: Umm about 100, 150 days. Me: Oh, okay. Where are you going? Today, I was invited to a Realtor, Partner discussion of the different financing that are available for our area of North Carolina.
There were professionals our community that were there to discuss different projects and needs for the folks.
The panel was led by the Loan officers from First Citizens Bank. The taught us of several programs that will serve a variety of needed of buyers.
WE learned about:
VA
FHA
Conventional
USDA
HOP
and a few others that I found to be very interesting.

We are getting some powerful information. I am loving it. The Mike Ferry organization has so much to offer. They have the tools of the trade.
Today...Listing presentations. Easy...scripted....just follow the script.
Also did some GOAL SETTINGS. I have learned that you have to have a plan
and to work tht plan.

Spring...Ah Wonderful Spring.
I am so glad that the sun is shining and the air is cool and fresh and the flowers are blooming...and the birds are singing.
This is my time of the year. I seem to bloom as the flowers do. Thank you Lord for them all.
Now I think I can awaken and do my job as a professional Realtor. I just needed to wake up from Winter.

Today we had to come to Wilmington North Carolina for a surgical procedure.
Had to get up at 4:00 am and be here by 5:30. It is an hour drive so we got to see the sites very early this moning.
I think we will be here till mid day. Found out that they have wireless here in the Surgical Palvilion and I am able to do some work this morning early.
All is well.

It is a lovely saturday with Bill out in the Atlantic kicking up some waves on our shore. Not bad at this time.
Today, we had 2 of our grandchildren with us enjoying country life. Joshua is 3 and his sister Marissa if 1. Those ages really keep you hopping. When nap time came, only grandma wanted to nap.
So it was walking on the dock and yard till little one gave up and took her nap.
Grandma did to then...
We are blessed..

F Stands for Family
O Stands for Occupation
R Stands for Recreation
D Stands for Dreams
It is a system for prospecting people that you know. It begins with you telling them "who you are and then is followed by The F.O.R.D. questions.
Think I am going to try it.

Thank God it is Actually Friday.
I need a break this week with having the garden, family and listing and selling this week.
Seems like the harder I work the harder the work becomes. Are you finding the same or it is

The Grandchilden are visiting from out of town...
Rain is coming down and we can't get out to go to the beach or to the pool.
Guess today is a Monoply Day or a Taboo Day.
Tonight, we get to put up the pickles that we picked from the garden yesterday.. They will be good in salads this winter.
