Well, Another rainy day in Southport! If we didn't need the rain that much I would be blue..but the fact is that we do need this rain. We need it because we had been in a drought for much of last year. This rain is a Godsend to us. The garden is planted and we are seeing the fruits of our labor coming up all around. Thinking of PoP goes the Wessel..... Today I have been working on social networks and getting more confused. We started out with Twitter, then facebook, then My Space, and then ended with Ping. If we just worked on each one of these sites it would take hours to update each of these sites. Hope that you all are doing better than I am right now. Hi all.. A wonderful rainy Active rain day... I was in Dublin NC with the Gillespie side of my family celebrating the Gillespie Reunion of descendants of David Gillepie who was the first graduate of the university of North Carolina. UNC-Chapel Hill. Rah rah rah!!! We left here this morning to join about 50 folks that are family in Dublin, the 3rd Sunday in May of each year. IT was great fun seeing family that we do not seen but once a year.. Hope that you have family experiences like this.

Wow, the days seem to be flying by right now. Is that what happens as we grow older? Soon our children will be out of school and ready to enjoy the summer with family and friends. Being in the Southport~Oak Island area of North Carolina, we have a lot of visitors to come and enjoy all that our area has to offer; the Beaches, boating, fishing, shelling, golfing, shopping in the neat stores in Southport, etc. If you need a break from your hustle and bustle, come on down and enjoy this life style for a bit.
