Tonight we will go and share in the awards program for the newspaper in the state of North Carolina.
This meeting will be held in the Alumni Center on Campus on UNC in Chapel Hill NC. (Very close to the Foot Ball field where the Tar Heels win a lot of Foot ball games.)
The meeting is always excellent and our own State Port Pilot will receive many awards for the excellence of our Newspaper. WE are a community newspaper in the coastal area of North Carolina.  This is a retirement destination for many that want to escape the hustle and bustel … (2 comments)

We have been busy with a Mother that has had to be hospitalized at Duke Hospital. She has been a resident as Croasdaile Village Retirement Community. She helped to create this retirement community and felt that she had to come here and leave beautiful Southport North Carolina. She is now 92 and had been doing very well. Our local newspaper is called the State Port Pilot.  It is a "good newspaper in a good community!"
My husband Jimmy is the photographer for the paper and he takes the most beautiful pictures.
