narragansett beach: Fall Weather Is Great In Rhode Island - 09/19/15 09:46 PM
Fall Weather Is Great In Rhode Island

With over 400 miles of waterfront in the smallest state in the Union, Rhode Island, you have to believe that there is no place like home (have you heard that before?).  This is a fall view of one of my most favorite beaches in RI coastal real estate, Narragansett Beach, in Narragansett RI.   We do not feel fall here at all!  It is gorgeous weather to continue to enjoy the fabulous beaches and oceanfront that make this the land that is so accessible to home buyers and seekers.

Come see why I love my backyard … (21 comments)

narragansett beach: Narragansett Pier | Narragansett Beach is Where I Like to Be - 04/12/14 11:55 PM
Narragansett Pier | Narragansett Beach is Where I Like to Be
When the weather is 70 degrees on a spring Rhode Island day, the locals come out in hordes to their favorite water spots.  And I do not mean drinking holes!  No here in RI one of our favorite locations is Narragansett Pier leading to Narragansett beach.
A mile boardwalk path lines the magnificent Atlantic Ocean here and our 'infamous' beach we like to keep to ourselves...but unfortunately the word has gotten out...it is the place to be.
Once where the elite in society from the Vanderbilts and Rockefellers came to … (6 comments)

narragansett beach: So Where oh Where has Scott Hayes Been? - 07/14/13 12:38 AM
So Where oh Where has Scott Hayes Been?
Well our fellow ActiveRain member, Scott Hayes,  has been absent for awhile...you know the business is great line...family obligations and perhaps an extended vacation with a visit to Rhode Island!  Yes, we have all heard the excuses but honestly he just has been one busy man.  I caught up with Scott and his family this past week when they came to vacation in Narragansett by Narragansett beach...oohh, la, la...I have shared that this is a great RI coastal real estate beach to explore.
Well as you may know Scott has twin girls … (11 comments)

narragansett beach: Beach Day- Narragansett Style - 06/28/12 08:31 PM
Beach Day- Narragansett Style.  We have the America's Cup World Series thrilling us right now in RI...but that is Newport way...in my travels I did get to see long distance the racing of the super sleek catamarans  in the Bay.  They fly across Narragansett Bay and are just amazing to witness!
It was unbelievably beautiful here.  I was in Jamestown RI previewing luxury Jamestown homes for sale for an out of state buyer who is making a trip down tomorrow to see one.  So heading out to Beavertail State Park to see if I could see more of the days racing was … (15 comments)

narragansett beach: Narragansett RI real estate - Edgewater neighborhood - 01/16/12 10:46 PM
Narragansett RI real estate - Edgewater neighborhood.

Narragansett RI is the home of the renowned Narragansett Beach…it is a location Rhode Islanders are all proud of.  So the Edgewater neighborhood is unique in its own right and will not to be upstaged by a local beach by any means.  This fine neighborhood is on the northerly point of Narragansett and is located on the other waterfront border of Narragansett that being Narrow River.  True to form Edgewater is a mix of ranch homes, cottages, colonials and upscale homes to enjoy.  The choice of Narragansett homes for sale is varied but all have one thing in common here – all are … (14 comments)

narragansett beach: Google Maps - Embed a Picture in Your Google Map - Part II - 05/20/11 10:58 PM
Google Maps - Embed a picture in your Google Map - Part II.  Google maps is a fun tool and I really have to thank Brad Andersohn for getting me to look at the map function in a different and useful way.  Part of this learning process is stumbling through by yourself these various venues to discover a new 'thingamajig' to use in the your trusty backpack.  I wrote a blog post last year on embedding a YouTube video into your blog post which has been well clicked and received.  I am no Craig Daniels by any means so my post … (29 comments)

Google Maps - Embed a Picture on Your Map - Part I. Narragansett Beach- Narragansett RI 02882- Extraordinary Dusk.  I have to share this picture I am embedding into Google Maps on my Google maps because it captures the essence of the evening walking along Narragansett Pier in Narragansett RI.  It was a bit past dusk and the juxtaposition of lights, coloring, high tide on Narragansett Beach just drew me in.

Luckily I had my camera with me and I could take the shot. So this is your first step to embed a picture into Google Maps- get a … (65 comments)

Narragansett, RI is the destination for many people from all over the country who choose to enjoy the spectacular real estate as well as it's most famous Narragansett Beach.  It's the 'flavor of life ' here that makes it such an awesome place to live - whether it's the surrounding homes, incredible amount of coastline enjoyed by all in this seaside town, warmth of the locals or just plain ambiance.  Even as a realtor it is one of my all time favorite places to sell real estate to clients because … (3 comments)
