As usual people are drawn to the Narragansett RI rocky coastline during potential hurricane weather, as I was, to watch the waves from a good distance...there was no fussing in the car about getting closer since like an enticing fire, the water creates a dangerous attraction for those who step to close. As the mood of buyers changes with the wind there is no doubt that a frosty housing inventory is heading our way...i would not blame that either on La Nina. It is obvious by the housing market numbers in my geographical region that the inventory level of houses for sale is way up from last year. The real estate statistics came out a couple of weeks ago regarding the large drop in home sales and this just freaked one of my sellers out -"slash the price" they said we need buyers to come and make offers...yes, like hot and heavy! I could not believe my fortunate ears that day. Did I hear the words right?
