We recently spent 9 days in Glacier National Park and encountered several of the wild animals one hopes to see on a vacation such as this. Alphabetically we saw bears four times; once from a boat and twice across lakes. The one pictured below ambled past us about 100 feet off trail while we were sitting on a log enjoying a snack.
