The Buyer decision is made right at the front door. Sometimes in the front yard. Sometimes off the photos posted on Internet. So this is a great reminder to take care of first impressions FIRST. Paint that door. Paint those shutters. Spruce up those flower beds. Become their love at first sight HOME.

You can’t read an article on staging or preparing your home for sale without seeing or hearing the phrase “You only have one chance to make a first impression.”

There's a first for everything. But how many firsts can you have in a day? Hmmm...let's count.
I was in Annapolis this afternoon showing a home and went to an afternoon party with some Severn School friends afterwards. I got my nerve up, but it took a while, to try raw oysters. Just because it took a half century to get around to it did not mean it was an easy decision. But after the nose wriggling and eye rolling theatrics, I finally got one down and then somehow consumed a dozen. Go figure. In otherwords, this "first " was way … (5 comments)
