Reservations for Two Christmas Eve at Outback Prince Frederick MD.... Mom and I went to Outback tonight to celebrate the life of my childhood friend who lost her battle with Cancer Sept 7. Today would have been her Birthday. Over the three plus decades of our friendship, we would routinely go out for her Birthday Celebration either the 24th or a day immediately surrounding Christmas Eve. We made reservations for two at our favorite table number 7 where she would join me, Mom and my Dad regularly. As the hostess lead us back she confirmed ...reservations for three, right? I can choose to be sad or choose to be glad about the loss of friends. My Mom and I are going to go to Outback to celebrate my friend's birthday. She lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer this year. We would go out every year and celebrate candles on the cake along with Christmas. So Mom is going with me to start a new custom to celebrate her day a whole new way. And if I hear an Adele song or Bocelli song or see a Hummingbird along the way, I'll know she is with us on her Special day. … (9 comments)

What do you get the Pooch for Christmas? What will Santa Paws have on the sleigh? Well, there are stuffed animals at PetSmart and Chicken Chews at Walmart. There are soup bones at the local grocery store and tennis balls in the Sports Store. But what would my Riley Rover love most of all? A good snooze upstairs and some warmed up burger in his evening meal. And a good long walk together by the Chesapeake Bay. What do you get the Pooch for Christmas? How do you decorate for the holidays? Well, it has all moved outside at Mosquito Gulch. The porch is filled with Wreath Making Supplies. Which means when you drop by you can either create one or select one. In other words, my kind of decorating helps you decorate, too. The spirit of Christmas shines right through! No sneezing, no needles, no mess. Simple. But I must confess, I do miss my Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. I would select one scraggly, pitiful ready to plant pine tree and put an ornament on it until it was ready to find its home. Hmmmm, … (2 comments)
