This week the median list price for Gilbert, AZ is $659,232 with the market action index hovering around 58. This is less than last month's market action index of 61. Inventory has increased to 261.

The market has been cooling over time and prices plateaued for a while. Despite the consistent decrease in MAI, we’re in the Seller’s zone. Watch for changes in MAI. If the MAI resumes its climb, prices will likely follow suit. If the MAI drops consistently or falls into the Buyer’s zone, watch for downward pressure on prices.

Declutter Your Home
Selling a house is the perfect time to take a good look at your belongings to see if anything could be sold, donated, recycled or thrown out. Not only does a decluttered home look more inviting to potential buyers, but come moving day, you'll only be transporting the items you really want to keep.

chandler realtor: KISS my WHAT?! - 09/21/23 12:51 PM
KISS my WHAT?!   Believe it or not, the concept of KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) was coined by the U.S. Navy as part of their systems goals. That advice stuck and determines how I continue to practice.   "So the writer who breeds more words than he needs, is making a chore for the reader who … (3 comments)

chandler realtor: Did You Miss Wife Appreciation Day? It's Not Too Late! - 09/19/23 02:11 PM

Did you know the third Sunday of September is/was Wife Appreciation Day?  One can combine appreciation for one's wife by integrating this celebration some other fun food and drink "holidays" in this time frame, including National String Cheese Day, National Pepperoni Pizza Day, National Punch Day and National Fried Rice Day.
This date specifically honors wives amongst couples who have no children. Not every woman is a mother, either by chance or choice. Since so many holidays celebrate families with children, (such as Mother's Day), Wife Appreciation Day offers a time to honor married women who are childless.
Couples may celebrate the day traditionally … (4 comments)
