Opening Day for the 2023 season will be March 30, with all 30 teams scheduled to play. Barring postponement, it will be the first time since 1968 that every MLB team opens on the same day. I was driving along Rt 10 in Cheshire and a spot of color caught my eye. I took a quick detour into the parking lot of the Big Y grocery store just for the shot.

The calendar tells me that today is the first day of Spring, though you may not know it based on the depth of the snow in my yard.
Maybe it has something to do with that groundhog that failed to see his shadow last month, perhaps we just need to be a bit more patient.
Soon the snow will be gone and shortly after that we will be suffering the heat of summer, and wishing for a bit of snow.
