Duarte is another one of those relatively unknoown areas in LA. It is also one of the most modestly priced, freeway accessible cities in the San Gabriel Valley area. Right now, your average 3+2 home probably sits in the mid $400,000 range. Cute homes. The neighborhoods north of the 210 fwy have somewhat of a different flavor than south. Plus, there is a bit more shopping, restaurants and commercial on the north side also. For the most part, the bulk of homes in Duarte are traditional style, ranging in the 1950's to 1960's range.
