I'm taking matters into my own hands.....in a BIG way
The craziness of the market tends to bring out advantages and disadvantages.
Advantages include the obvious such as increased activity, gains in home value, and all the hussle and bussle associated with that.
But there are some disadvantages that have occured as a result of us coming out of a depressed market for quite a few years, and that is the greed, nastiness, and compromising of ethics that I'm seeing by a fair percentage of agents.

Do you feel, within your context of a real estate professional that it is ethical to write multiple offers on short sales, just to see which one "sticks"? And I am referring to regardless of what you disclose to the sellers. I tell you what, let's remove the whole business ethics element for a moment. By DRE terms, you would be called a sales agent.
When I think of sales agent, I think of used cars, telemarketers, and "hold the line for your next available sales agent".
How many "sales agents" that you know have to invest approximately $6000 per year just to be called a "sales agent"?
That's why I disagree with being called a "sales agent". 
We are REALTORS.
We have state exams that we must pass.  We have conditional license terms that must be periodically upheld.  We are required to have technical, architectural, legal and environmental knowledge according to our state and fedaral … (9 comments)
