Feel like HAFA short sales are in the same category as Bigfoot or UFO's? This is a MUST read..... It's funny. Whenever I mitigate a short sale, I always make it a point to explain to the sellers that a HAFA short sale could possibly be available to them if they qualify for one, and then go through the qualifications with them. But I have to be honest. Over the past year it seems that the banks seem to handle the HAFA program with a little "smoke and mirrors".
