foreclosure: What is Cash for Keys?- - Tracy & Mountain House Questions Answered - 05/08/11 07:10 PM
What is Cash for Keys?  Otherwise known as "Relocation Funds"?
I was asked today if I'd heard of "Cash for Keys" this by a short sale seller.
This made me think there are others who have this question....
Cash for Keys is just what is sounds like.  Someone gives you CASH (or a check) and you give them KEYS (the keys to the property you are occupying.)
Cash for Keys can be given to a tenant, a home owner, almost anyone who is living in the property.  The amount of Cash for Keys can vary from circumstance to circumstance, bank … (5 comments)

foreclosure: What would you do? This is becoming more the norm in Mountain House, CA - 05/06/10 05:16 PM
What would you do?  This is becoming more the norm in Mountain House, CA
6 or the 17 new listings in Mountain House, were occupied by tenants.  The MLS instructions are very clear.  "No Showings, write offer subject to viewing".
Of these 6 properties, 4 are "flips" and 2 are REO's.  Yes, really.  This is a new phenomenum that the housing market in Mountain House appears to be bearing.

foreclosure: Is it Immoral, lacking in Integrity to Stop Paying Your Mortgage? - 10/08/09 05:34 PM
This question - Is it Immoral or lacking in integrity to STOP paying your mortgage?
This question has been asked over and over again. I'm not here to give an answer.  I do know that in my communities of Tracy and Mountain House, CA the real estate market has taken a 50% dive in the past 3 years.

foreclosure: Options if your loan is adjusting - 07/21/07 05:11 AM
Life comes at your fast.  Now, what?  Many people who bought homes in the past 3 years with starter rate adjustable loans are going to see those loans adjusting soon.  What happens when that new payment is one that is no longer affordable?  What are the options?
