sandpoint events: Chris Proctor performs his magic guitar-work at Di Luna's: Sandpoint Blog - 02/27/11 06:03 AM
I went to a concert at Di Luna's last night featuring one of the most amazing guitarists I have ever seen. What I mean by purposely saying 'seen' instead of 'listened to' was pointed out by the artist during his show. He asked, "How many of you in the audience are guitarists?" Many raised their hands including myself and my friend Steve. He made the point that guitarists come to his shows and watch his chord structures and hand movements. Chris Proctor is the U.S. National Fingerstyle Guitar Champion and his abilities are jaw-dropping.
Critics call his guitar playing "breathtaking," "haunting," and "rich." … (2 comments)

sandpoint events: "Puppy Love" by Teresa Pesce, a romantic comedy: Sandpoint Blog - 02/23/11 08:22 AM
I interviewed the cast of "Puppy Love" on my radio show last week. First let me tell you these are the funniest troup to ever be on my show. There, I said it. Add to that the foible that I called the award-winning author Penny several times, even though her name is Teresa Pesce.
Bottom line is, if they are that funny just ad libbing and talking off-the-cuff on a radio show, the play must be hilarious.
Below is the info taken from the Panida Theater's website:

sandpoint events: Taste of Sandpoint 2011 served up great food and fun: Sandpoint Blog - 01/14/11 04:13 AM
The Taste of Sandpoint started Sandpoint Winter Carnival with food and fun at the Sandpoint Events Center Thursday night. The Sandpoint Events Center at 515 Pine St. sat empty for years until being renovated just a few years ago.
The Sandpoint Events Center, otherwise known fondly in our community as "The 9th Grade Center" and "the old Sandpoint High School," was completely renovated by a local family. The historic character of the building was maintained and highlighted in the renovation, and this restored facility is a fabulous addition to the community. To commemorate this occasion, they published a book called Sandpoint School Days, … (0 comments)
