And yet, I rarely see the behavior patterns of those around me change. It's just rush, rush, rush. I've heard it time and time again at the funeral of a friend or loved one -- "We should really get together more often." But it never happens. I keep hearing people say they can't believe it's August already. They can't believe the kids have to go back to school in a week or two. I think this is the first summer in -- well, I don't remember when I didn't feel anxious or sad that summer was coming to an end. And I think it's because this summer I made it a point to take time to have FUN.
Play in the sandbox with my 3-year old nephew. Go to a water ski show. Go to the county and state fairs. Go biking. Sit on the … (3 comments)

This morning I went to a class offered through my local MLS, which offered some tips on growing your business through the most innovative marketing and technology tools available these days. I attended the class with three of my co-workers, and we all agreed that we each found something worthwhile from the few hours we invested. After the speaker finished, we looked at each other and concluded it was time for lunch.
