Sleeping Policemen; what are they? I hear you say. Well they are not what you may immediately think of. No they are not the local Sheriff sleeping off his coffee and donuts under a shade tree. They are in fact Speed bumps placed in neighborhoods to slow traffic down. I am originally from England and that's what they are called over there. So why do I bring this up? Well in my neighborhood, Hidden Meadows in Yucaipa, they are causing quite a stir. We have quite a steep downhill which has a 25 mph speed limit yet a lot of motorists … (0 comments)

I have always wanted to find a way to connect a neighborhood so that neighbors can share information such as events, issues, crime, yard sales etc and recomend services. Well I found it. NextDoor.com is the answer, easy to use and a great way to network and connect with your neighbors. I created our Nextdoor because I believe that a neighborhood is one of the most important and useful communities in a person's life. hidden meadows: Home Prices Rise 24.5% Year on Year

According to the latest numbers from Zillow home prices in the Yucaipa area have increased 24.5% with the median home price now at $247,000. This is excellent news and shows that we are now in a period of strong and sustained growth. So what does this mean for the market? Well it is a real boost for homeowners who were underwater or had marginal equity meaning that they can at last think about selling.
