The town is located in the eastern corner of the county, bordered by New Canaan, Connecticut, to the east, Stamford, Connecticut, to the south, Bedford, New York, to the west and Lewisboro, New York, to the north. The local school is the Pound Ridge Elementary School, one of five K-5 schools in the Bedford Central School District.
