Two Scoops: Ice Scream on the North End of Anna Maria Took the trolley to the north end of the Island this past weekend and went to Two Scoops–at the shopping center on the corner of Pine Avenue (which is coming along nicely) and Bay Blvd. Always fun to have the grandkids out here, enjoying the island that I love so much. Free Fun on Anna Maria Island Every Week! It’s summer and everyone is looking for something to do! Here are a couple of free activities on Anna Maria Island that’ll make sure you have a swinging summer!
Wednesdays– Every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. @ Katie Pierola Park (Bradenton Beach) Sunset Picnic, with free entertainment by Island singer, Mike Sales. Bring a chair or blanket and some dinner and enjoy!

Beautiful, even though it's cloudy! I was looking through my pictures today and found these from a couple years back. Every sunset is unique and sometimes, its ones that aren't "perfect" that make the most beautiful and inspiring sights. I just love this place. Anna Maria Island couldn’t be closer to paradise. Pristine, sugar white sand beaches and turquoise waters that sparkle in the sunlight.Anna Maria Island has the most beautiful beaches (I’m a bit biased) in the entire world. Your vacation here can so incredible that you’ll come back over and over again and make a plan to some day retire here. However, it can be dangerous if you do not take the precautions necessary when swimming in our beautiful Gulf waters.
