Every year, Texas A&M students give back to the community through what they call the "Big Event". The "big event" is made up of several different projects, both large and small, that members of the Bryan-College Station community request from the students. The 2015 Bryan-College Station Big Event takes place on March 28th. If you have a project that you would like the students to help you with, the deadline to register your request is tomorrow, February 20th. College Station Named Top 10 US College Town Hot off last week's announcement that it was one of the 10 Great Places to Live, College Station was name a Top 10 US College Town by Livability.com for the third year in a row. College Station is tied with three other cities (Boulder, Ann Arbor and Athens) as being the only cities named three times in the four year history of Livability.com's Top 10 College Towns list. I had an appointment last night to show a home to some very serious buyers, so serious, that they wanted to put a contract on something by Monday. It was about 530pm and I turned on the national news and it happened to be Katie Couric, I watched as I was getting ready and putting my shoes, they started in on how bad the housing industry was, and the number of foreclosures, blah, blah !!, And I am thinking to myself, here we go again, when are they going to get tired?
