Last night we went out with friends to the Tennessee River. We put in at the Trina boat launch (close to our friends who live in Madison). This area of the Tennessee River is not back water but is just the river. Because it was late in the afternoon the water was very smooth. They have Yamaha Jet boat which is great for skiing. We just had great outing this week-end. On Sunday afternoon after church my family went out with another family to the Tennessee River. We took our Jet Ski and they took there new boat. We put into the water at River walk Marina which is located north of the Tennessee River before you get into Decatur (on highway 31). We cruised up the river to the I65 bridge area where the water became calmer. We then spent about 7 hours out on the water playing. We envented a game called NBT, "Ninja bumper tubes". The pool at Legacy Grove is open for the homeowners!!! The swimming pool at Legacy Grove is 30 X 60. It is a sport pool model which is 3 foot deep at each end and 6 foot deep in the middle. The pool uses the salt system for chlorination. The pool was paid for by the developers so the home owners only have to pay for the maintenance. One of my family's favorite pass times is camping. We live in the East Limestone / Madison area and a short drive away is Point Mallard Campground and Water Park. Point Mallard Water Park: Wave Pool (America First Wave Pool) Even though it is the first it is still very fun and relaxing. Kiddies Play Area Diving Area and large pool - Several high platforms. The clubhouse at Legacy Grove which is located in the East Limestone School District and is an easy drive to Redstone Arsenal and Research Park area and is ready for use by the home owners.
