sarasota: Real Estate Upswing on the Gulf Coast of Florida

Recent market information showed a 6 percent increase in housing prices in the Manatee/Sarasota County areas over last year. The bottom of a market was I believe more than a year ago. A steady climb has started back in our pricing. This doesn't mean we have regained what the market lost. Overall we are still looking at early to mid 2000 pricing. In some cases areas are seeing higher pricing others lower. The great news is the market is climbing after years of decline. We are looking at higher rent prices. Home construction is rebounding and higher condominium prices are rising. … (1 comments)
