The Orlando Regional Realtor Association ® released the latest market statistics for the month ending January 2009.  These stats cover Orange County and Seminole County, Florida including Orlando, Winter Park, Ocoee, Apopka, Altamonte Springs, Longwood, Oviedo, and Sanford to name a few places.
Surprisingly some of the numbers actually appear like the market is improving.  I've been saying for over a year now that inventory levels have basically flattened off for quite a while.  These latest numbers show a clear decrease in inventory which I found to be pretty interesting.  You can read the full details at the ORRA website and … (0 comments)

The info shows a lot more of the same trend we have been seeing for months.  Inventory slowly declining, sales remaining steady, days on market slowly drifting downward, prices still going down.  The big decline in inventory for December is typical because many listings expire on December 31 - it happens every year. This is typically followed by a surge of new listings in January. The month of November is typically a slower time of year as it starts the holiday season.  So there are less people buying and typically less pending contracts and closings.  These numbers show nothing unusual.  Listing inventory continues to decrease ever so slightly.  The number of new pending contracts and closings is less than previous months which is not a surprise.

The latest real estate market statistics are now available for Orange County Florida, Seminole County Florida, and metro Orlando.  All information is provided by the Orlando Regional Realtor Association.  You can get detailed info at the Realtor website.
Listings are up a little bit over the last 2 months and solds are down a little as well.  However for the most part things are relatively flat.  Inventory, pendings, and solds have basically stayed about the same for most of the last 15 months or so.  Orlando has a stronger economy than many other areas of the country and that has helped give the housing market some … (0 comments)

The latest market statistics for July 2008 has been released by the Orlando Regional Realtor Association.  These numbers are for Orange County and Seminole County, Florida.

The Orlando Regional Realtor Association released the monthly statistics for May 2008 for Orange and Seminole Counties in Central Florida.  This link takes you to the full report.   

The good news is that the inventory of listings has declined for the 4th month in a row to 25,015.  This figure shows a decline of 1,298 properties since its peak in August 2007.  The number of new listings has declined yet again to only 4,195 during May '08 compared to 6,200 during May '07.

The latest monthly market statistics for Orange County and Seminole County, FL have been posted by the Orlando Regional Realtor Association for the month ending April 2008.  Link to statistics.   
The trend from previous months has continued, and that is a good thing in my opinion.  The overall listing inventory has declined for the 4th month in a row and has not increased beyond the 26,000ish mark for now 10 months in a row.  This trend of a decline is very slight, but it is a decline.  Unfortunately, the decline is mainly from listings expiring or getting withdrawn and not from properties selling.  … (2 comments)
