There is an increasing concern over the number of college students who are starting off their career with huge student loan debt.  This concern has been highly publicized, and very well known.  What is not as well know, but in my opinion of an equal concern, is the increasing number of Senior Citizens Entering Retirement With Large Mortgage Debt.

mortgage delinquency rate: Mortgage Delinquency Rate Is Expected To Decline In 2015 - 12/16/14 02:48 AM
2015 will be a year of fewer mortgage delinquencies, according to an article in DSnews titled "Mortgage Delinquency Rate Predicted to Fall to Pre-Recession Level by End of 2015."  While I agree the Mortgage Delinquency Rate will decline in 2015, I do not agree with the reasons given in the article for why the Mortgage Delinquency Rate Is Expected To Decline In 2015. 
A drop in unemployment, and fewer Subprime Mortgage originations are being credited as the main reasons for the expected decline in mortgage delinquencies in 2015.  All the figures I have seen reported over this past year have shown … (18 comments)
