Above are just a couple of picture to show the amount of snow that we received here in Middletown Connecticut this past Saturday. We had about 8" of snow, but parts north of us got over 20" which is unheard of around here this time of the year. I can only remember one other time in my life time that we got a significant amount of snow in October, and that was in October of 1978, but even though it was a significant amount of snow in 1978, it was not as much as we just got.
