Florida's shortage of construction workers continues, with 61 percent of contractors saying they're having trouble filling skilled-worker positions, according to a survey released Wednesday by the Associated General Contractors of America. The shortage has improved slightly, down from 100 percent of contractors reporting issues hiring skilled workers last year. Among the factors that are helping: Higher pay and the return of some workers to the state from the sagging oil industry elsewhere, he said. "Word has gone out about the construction boom in Florida," said Brian Turmail, spokesman for Associated General Contractors in Arlington, Va. Still, big shortages remain in heavy equipment operators, concrete workers, (0 comments)

No matter how hard I tried to explain, he was convinced that he was responsible for my commission, not the seller and that my duties were very different than the standards that we’re held to today.
The son retained my services, but the father (0 comments)

On my marketing days, I like spending time at a local coffee or tea shop to get some ideas flowing and get some blogging inspiration. Today, I decided to give Victory Coffee a try. Located in Channelside, this coffee shop offers an assortment of freshly made tea and coffee. There is various wine and beer available for consumption as well, which I have to say is not common. The tea/coffee shops I've been to don't usually sell alcohol, but this one did. There was a steady flow of customers looking for an espresso fix or a shot (5 comments)
Decadent, delicious and exquisite are the words that come to mind after my lovely dining experience at ItaliAsia. Having a special event to celebrate, I wanted to try some place new and this restaurant surpassed my expectations. Not sure what to try, I ordered the Chicken Milanese. This dish included panko crusted chicken breast, napa cabbage, fresh bean sprouts, bok choy, curried noodles, and fresh lime that were married together so perfectly. I enjoyed each bite slowly, savoring the rich flavors and deliciousness my mouth was craving. My company enjoyed a beautifully seasoned and well prepared NY Strip Streak. (0 comments)
gloria walters tampa real estate agent: FHA Extends Flipping Waiver Through 2014
- 12/26/12 10:33 AM
Typically, purchasing a Federal Housing Authority (FHA) property involves a clause that prohibits the buyer to resell the property within the first 90 days of purchase. This preventative measure common among FHA insured mortgaged properties, but is sometimes included on cash contracts as well. The FHA has waived that rule on some contracts and allowed flipping since January 2010. They hope this allowance will encourage investors to purchase and renovate blighted homes and offer turn-key home options for first time home buyers and others. Ultimately, this strategy will boost sales . Apparently, this strategy seems to be working. Since (3 comments)

Fresh Mouth, located in Central Ybor makes the best chicken philly in Tampa Bay. I am yet to stumble upon another restaurant that can rival this tasty sandwich. Served on a soft hoagie bun, the philly consists of piles of chopped chicken breast, grilled mushrooms, green peppers and onions, smothered with a load of provolone cheese that makes the sandwich even more decadent with flavor. If you are looking for a Great chicken philly, Fresh Mouth is your place. (2 comments)
