mortgages: Investing in Properties - 07/10/08 01:04 AM
I took an investment class last week.  One thing that I did learn is that if you plan on renting out a place that its a good idea to start a LLC just in case someone tries to sue you.  The lawyer that was speaking in the class was saying that its a way to protect yourself from liability.  I'm not planning on having renters but its good to know this for later down the road if I do decide to rent out a property.
