I'VE BEEN READING the news and it has left me with the following feeling: Make sure to take enough time TODAY to do those things really important to you. It seems too many of us spend too much of our time rushing through the day. We all have so many really important things we need to do before the sun sets. We all have our own lists of what those tasks include. May I suggest pausing to hug the children, apologize for mistakes made and smell a rose or two. time: June 31 - Because It's Better than Jan. 31

Daylight Saving Time has me thinking. Since we're able to add an hour here and take an hour there, just because we want to, I suggest Summer Expansion Time. Let's drop January 31 and replace it with an extra day at the end of June. The result is one less day of winter and one more day of summer. Why not? The months are anything but consistent. They already can come with 28, 29, 30 or 31 days and rather than ending on the last day of a week, months end ... whenever. It isn't like our current months are actually … (2 comments)
