keller williams: Do past Buyers and Sellers remember you? - 03/14/13 11:17 AM
Do past buyers and sellers remember you?
As agents, we all hope that the answer to this question is yes! Today, I was able to find out the answer to this question not once, but twice!
This morning, Greg, (one of the agents in our office) came by my office to let me know he met one of my past buyers. Apparently Greg was networking with a group of hockey players and mentioned he works at Keller Williams. A fellow hockey player then said he bought his home using Keller Williams and in fact his agent was Shawna Green (me!) and went on … (8 comments)

keller williams: Souper Wednesday - 02/09/11 08:07 AM
“Soup”er Wednesday at Keller Williams Realty in Fayetteville, NC
Yes, you read that right, “Soup”er.  As the ALC Social Chairperson, I am thinking of ways to bring the agents together and what better way than food?  The family that eats together, stays together, right?  I had actually heard about the “souper” day from a co-worker last year but decided this year to put it in affect.  I asked several agents to make a batch of soup to share with their fellow agents.  Although this was a somewhat last minute thing, it turned out great!Pat Heath made some wonderful beef chili, Julie … (11 comments)

keller williams: Why can't I just switch it off? - 12/04/10 10:42 PM
A few days ago I posted how addicting blogging can be.  I have just started blogging this week and I accepted a challenge to do the 31 Days of December challenge.  I find myself looking at everything as a blog.  Yesterday was our Cookies w/Santa client appreciation party (which I already blogged about).  Last night was our annual Keller Williams Christmas party.  On the way home I caught myself thinking, what could I blog about?  I got home and immediately jumped on the computer to look for some ideas!  Even my husband has noticed that I seem to be on here alot.

A couple of agents in my office got to together to hold a client appreciation party or as we called it Cookies with Santa.  This was a first for us and unchartered territory so we were all a bit nervous. It was a learning process for all of us.   Now that the event is over and everything cleaned up, I have sat down and relaxed..and realized a few things.
First and most important, my database is not complete.  All throughout the day I realized I should of invited this person or that person.  That proves I need to work on my database!
The second thing … (9 comments)

keller williams: Caravan and why I think its a good thing - 12/01/10 11:07 PM
Keller Williams Fayetteville, NC does Caravan.  We go directly after sales meetings.  Yes, it makes for a long morning...however there are benefits in going.   I do not miss Caravan unless I am with clients.  I feel its that important to my business.  I learn values, (yesterday we saw two homes that were close in price yet were very different in size & area), learn the different school system boundaries (two homes close but two different high schools), learn the area and shortcuts, and one of the most important things is hanging out with other Realtors for a while!  There were 4 agents in our … (9 comments)
