Home owners are not replacing their tile and carpet with rubber...but I've been to three different properties recently that featured a rubber floor in either a basement room or in a home gym room. Congratulations to all of the schools who participated in the 2011 Student Hunger Drive. The kids from 19 area high schools were able to collect over 750,000 pounds of food. This was the 26th year of the event that includes schools from Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois.
United Township High School in East Moline, IL and Bettendorf High School Bettendorf, IA led the way.

I was fortunate enough to do a whole home seller inspection a few weeks ago for a couple selling their home FSBO. Their home was 12 years old and was very well maintained. I did find a few minor issues that they were able to correct before they received any offers. They called me today to let me know they received a FULL price offer and closed on it this afternoon! Wow...that did'nt take long!
