We all know the realtors mantra, location, location, location. A rehabber’s mantra should be granite, granite, granite. A while back I wrote about not skimping on materials, one of them being granite countertops. My videos on You Tube show the house that I've been involved in the funding of the purchase and rehab. I'm video recording the tear down and rebuild, step by step which has become a job all by itself. I stress to never discount the final touches, especially the counter tops. Did you know you, or your buyers can buy real estate through a ROTH IRA? First you'll have to use a Self-Directed IRA, your typical broker controlled IRA won't be set-up to accomplish your investment plan. There are several custodians across the country who are truly Self-Directed, such as Pensco Trust Company, Equity Trust Company, Entrust Administration and more than I can mention here. Ever heard of a self-directed IRA? Notice the words "self-directed? I'm not talking about the IRA at your bank or investment brokers office that allows you to pick from a group of funds your broker makes available to you. I'm talking about a real self-directed IRA where you can buy Mortgage Notes, investment properties and all of the other IRS allowed investments outside of stocks, mutual funds, bonds, etc. How's your stock portfolio doing lately?
