mortgage originators: How did our "Happy Thanksgiving" begin? - 11/22/17 03:04 PM
Belief is the “First Thanksgiving” was celebrated in October 1621 (must have been pushed back by Halloween?). This was a feast planned as a celebration of the first harvest in the New World.  New World was a term used by Europeans for countries in the Western hemisphere, like America, the Caribbean Islands, and Bermuda.  A record of this First Thanksgiving claims that 90 Native Americans and 53 Pilgrims (Europeans who settled in America) attended the feast.  I want to wish everyone a wonderful celebration feast and a Happy Thanksgiving!

mortgage originators: Expanding Mortgage Brokers Origination Reach - 08/21/17 12:40 PM
The problem many mortgage brokers and loan originators have is competing with larger "nationwide" mortgage companies.  It's not that smaller brokers can't compete, fact is most are extremely competitive. Many can't help a borrower with a loan unless it's for a property in states they're licensed.  They don't have a nationwide reach!
When speaking with Brokers and LO's across the country their comments sometimes go like this, "I just had a call a few days (or weeks) ago from a past client who wants to buy a home in another state, I had to give it up.  I wish we were … (1 comments)
