fair: No Pig Wrestling at the Teton Valley Fair for 2012

The Fair Board has decided not to hostPig Wrestling for 2012. The deciding factor was the cost to bring the event to the Fair. The cost is $5,000.00 and last year the event ran at a loss of $1,500. We can have this event again if we can get sponsors in 2013 to cover some of the costs. The question is does the public want us to bring the pigs and wrestlers back? What do you think about the pig wrestling?

fair: Teton County Idaho Fair 2010

The 2010 Fair in Teton County Idaho has come to a close. As a member of the Fair Board I received a lot of positive comments about the quality of the fair this year. I would love to see more involvement from the community to grow our Fair and include more people in the festivities. I would like to thank the 4-H clubs.
