It was the first snow of the year and a big storm for Northern Arizona. I had gotten these plastic skis from the thrift store; I fastened these to my boots and was off down the hill. It was really more like snow shoeing, but where the mountain was steep I would kind of slide. A half mile from the house and snow shoeing in plastic skis was getting old.
