The Bethesda community has an amazing art community.  Downtown Bethesda is home to several galleries that showcase paintings, photography, mixed media and sculptures from local artists as well as those around the country and internationally.  On the second Friday of every month, all galleries in the downtown Bethesda area open their doors to the public from 6pm to 9pm for the Bethesda Art Walk.

I am so pleased to announce that Bethesda has been named a top job growth city through 2020.  The Bureau of Labor Statistics recently announced the results of its study of 100 of the largest metropolitan areas throughout the United States for potential job growth until the end of the decade.  The Bethesda/Rockville/Frederick area placed second only to the DC/Arlington/Alexandria section of the DC metro area for highest projected job growth in the entire country. That's great news for our part of the Mid-Atlantic!
