Holt Woods sales are on tract to be similar to 2008. Unlike headline news in The Tennessean and other local Real Estate Blogs, this neighborhood is holding ground as far as sales go. Prices are down almost 10% but the number of sales is equal to 2008 at this point.

Sales in Holt Woods were off to a slower start in 2009 than in normal years. January had no closings and no homes went pending. There are however, 2 homes that have gone pending February so far. Home sales were down to 16 homes in 2008 from 31 homes in 2007. The average number of sales are normally 2 to 3 per month. Last year we averaged just over 1/month. This being said, not having any closings is not an indication of things getting slower, but of how the numbers average over the entire (0 comments)
HOLT WOODS MARKET REPORT 2008 Sales of Holt Woods Homes may be down close to 35% over 2007 but that still means that homes ARE selling! Enough of the Doom and Gloom. People need to move for many reasons and if your house is priced right and in good condition it should sell.
