Always in September the Elk River Fire Station opens it's doors to the community for viewing and then later a dance. This year is no exception. In our house the excitement is beginning to build as the boys are getting ready to spend an afternoon wondering around the fire station looking at the trucks (and climbing on a few) and maybe even seeing the helicopter come in for a landing.
