I ran a very successful radio show named “Real Estate and Beyond” here in Phoenix, Arizona for many years until I stopped doing radio so I could take care of my in-laws who were diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I believe radio is the best marketing tool for a real estate agent. It gives that agent instant credibility in their marketplace. Why? I just experienced my first Phoenix Real Estate scam on one of my rental listings this past week. I listed a rental for $975 per month. Well, I had a person call me to inform me that my rental listing was now at $675 per month. That did not seem right to her so she called me immediately. It was a person posing as the owner that lived overseas. They wanted her to send money in exchange for keys. That is a bad idea.

I can always tell when the Phoenix Real Estate market becomes hot. The investment gurus come to Phoenix to put on their investment workshops. We can all confirm that real estate has become a top discussion at many dinner tables and water coolers around the country. Everybody equates real estate and riches together. Real estate education is a multibillion dollar industry. One of the educators from this seminar quoted that only 2% of the people that obtain the education will put it into application. Learning gratitude in life is a must in everyone's life. I am teaching my kids about gratitude for others. One of the ways they are learning is by sending thank you notes to people after they attend events or activities in the houe of a friend. How many of you take the time to say THANK YOU!

Here is a picture of downtown Phoenix from a different view. I went to the Arizona Science Center with my son on Friday for a class visit. I had a great time with my son. We spent the whole day learning about science and our soloar system. I have to admit that I took a little siesta during the Planetarium movie.
