SEC SETTLES WITH GOLDMAN SACHS FOR $550 MILLION MAKE CHECK PAYABLE TO THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA FULL ARTICLE I was reading an article stating that the SEC will settle with Goldman Sachs for a grand total of $550 million. This must be approved by a federal judge located in Manhattan New York. However, Big Brother must protect us from the evil doers who were one of the big players in the subprime mortgage scandal. $550 million sounds like a big number when it comes to a settlement.
