As I'm viewing other blogs I see where others may have not had good results with dropping the prices on their listings. We have tried this and have not had much success. We have received low ball offers, but also are having trouble with people getting financing. After reviewing another blog this morning, I do believe buyers should be aware of the types of product a builder puts in his/her home. A recent blog discussed a builder not budging on his/her price. Although there are some builders that are like that, pay attention to the detail. A builder that puts class 5 porcelain tile, tumbled and chiseled travertine, higher end appliances, tall ceilings and 8 foot doors throughout,etc., instead of standard cultured marble and thin granite, spends a lot of money to offer good quality work.
