Linda wrote this phenomenal post that I think everyone should read and remember.  I know so many people (myself included) that need to keep these words in mind.

In my profession I have seen many changing markets, worked with clients from all walks of life, and had the pleasure of helping many people move forward in life.  Today, however, I feel the need to make my voice heard.
In the past several weeks I have gone on five listing appointments.  Three of them are potential short sales, … (6 comments)

inspiration: A Little Blue Fish is My Inspiration - 05/27/10 01:00 PM
It's funny to think that you can find inspiration from a cartoon character.  But, lately, circumstances have forced me to look in some weird places to keep a positive attitude.  And, I happened to land upon Dory, the little blue fish from "Finding Nemo".  Since Dory's only got a VERY short term memory, she's always happy to meet new people (even if she's known them for a while), she manages to make friends with those who should be her enemies ("What's a little bite like you doing 'round here") and is always in an upbeat mood ("Swimming, swimming...just keep swimming").  Not … (6 comments)

inspiration: A Little Inspiration for Your Monday Morning - 09/14/09 01:26 AM
Here's a little inspiration for your Monday morning.  I hope you like them as much as I did.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  - Mark Twain
Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure...than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray … (21 comments)

I simply HAD to repost this uplifting story of survival from Joe Pryor.  Rock on, Joe!

So now it is 1 year plus 1 day. yesterday my post was an unplanned stream of consciousness story about a major event. It could have been a heart attack, or some other terrible disease. What is was, was cancer. It is strange to think that an organism that wants to live has to kill you in the process. Does that make sense? No, but me getting cancer … (11 comments)

inspiration: Spring Fresh: Ain't No Mountain High Enough (Eventually)! - 04/09/09 05:54 PM
Usually, people use New Year's Day as inspiration to start anew.  Since I was fighting off a cold so that I could get into surgery on January 7th, New Year's was NOT a day of renewal for me.  Recouperating from surgery can take a while.  In my case, the doctor gave me 12 weeks to make sure that everything healed up nicely before I could do anything more strenuous than folding laundry.  Last week, those 12 weeks were up!  My son and I finally got to do what I had been promising him to do since we moved into our house … (32 comments)

inspiration: A Little Inspiration for Your Friday - 04/09/09 04:42 PM
This is an amazing video that was passed on to me and now I am passing it on to you. Just a little inspiration for a Friday morning. Turn your computer speakers on and watch the video until the very end. It is so worth it! This is one amazingly talented artist. If you're not in awe with what transpires here, you don't have a soul! Enjoy.
