Here are the numbers for Skagit County for February. March 1st, we've started the spring market and we should hopefully see more listings than in February. For residential, new listings were down, pendings were up and solds were up from February last year. The median sale price was up by 13% while days on market was down 73%! That's a shortage and supply and demand is what is bringing that median sold price up.

The pending and sold listings are still soaking up all the new residential listings in Whatcom County. 
Lots of new condo listings last week, however.
In the same 7 days last year, we had 48 new residential listings with a median price of $421,950 and 10 new condo listings with a median price of $286,500.

Comparing January 2021 to January 2020:
Price = ↑ The median sales price is ↑ 37.3% Price per square foot is ↑ 21.7% Inventory = ↓ Current homes for sale is ↓ 44.6%  Months of inventory is ↓ 46.7% Days on Market is ↓ 75.7% New Listings = ↓ New listings were ↑ 13.4% Pending Sales were ↑ 21.8% Closed sales were ↓ 11.6% (but combined with the pending sales, it still soaked up the extra inventory from the new listings) Heather Stevenson BROKER
